The Programme

The objective of this short course is to examine how the EU operates its controls on imports from the rest of the world in order to protect its food safety, animal health and plant health status. The students will develop an understanding of the principles and practice of the Union's trade policy, the Common Commercial Policy (CCP), which is of vital importance to any student of the global trade environment.

Entry Requirements

These courses are suitable for applicants with a degree in the areas of Food Science, Human Nutrition, Agricultural/Biological/Biomedical Sciences and/or for those who are currently working in the food sector.
