The Programme

The objective of this short course is to provide students with an overview of globalisation of food supply including the international organisations responsible of global food safety. An overview of US food law and the organisations involved in setting standards on food safety will be given. In addition, the new FDA Food Safety Modernisation Act will be described in detail.

These courses are suitable for applicants with a degree in the areas of Food Science, Human Nutrition, Agricultural/Biological/Biomedical Sciences and/or for those who are currently working in the food sector.
