The Programme

The objective of this short course is to introduce students to concepts in nutrition and health claims for foods, focusing on the EC Regulation 1924/2006 and the role of the European Food Safety Authority. In addition, students will become familiar with consumer understanding of nutrition and health claims worldwide and the concept of nutrition and health claims from an industry perspective.
